Bill Quay Community Church is very excited to announce that it will be running a ‘Play in a Day’ during the Easter holidays! In fact, it’s more than a play – it’s a musical called ‘The Tale of 3 Trees’, which is a traditional folk tale perfect for Easter performances.
The musical is written especially for 7-11 year olds, and so we’d love to invite anyone in Years 2 – 6 who would like to be involved to come along and take part. (It doesn’t cost anything!)
The day will run on Wednesday 17 th April at Bill Quay Community Church, using the main door to enter from Station Road. We’ll be registering people from 9.45am, and then beginning to learn the songs and the play from 10am.
We would like to invite friends and family to come and watch
the performance in the church at 4.30pm.
We have both a drama and a music specialist leading the activities, so the day will include some drama and singing games and activities as well as the musical itself.
The church will provide refreshments throughout the day, but anyone taking part will need to bring a packed lunch. There will be a number of church volunteers helping out during the day, so adults don’t need to stay unless they’d really like to. Our volunteers aren’t able to administer medication, so if anyone needs any kind of medication, their responsible adult is welcome to stay to make sure that everything is administered correctly.
If your child would like to take part, please download a copy of the registration form and return it, either by email to
firstname.lastname@example.org or by posting it through the church letter box which is on the side door of the church at the top of Morley Avenue.
